About the role

What is Early Talent you might ask? At Gap Inc. we know that talent exists in all places and our team is passionate about building a workforce that comes from all different backgrounds not limited to universities and colleges. The Early Talent Recruiting Operations Specialist will play a crucial part in bringing our early talent strategies to life through assisting with the day to day operations of the recruiting process. The role is a mix of strong attention to detail in candidate tracking & process implementation, as well as operational excellence and tactical execution. This role will also assist with supporting relationships with external candidates, as well as internal business partners across all Gap Inc. functions and family of brands. What you'll do

  • Supports Early Talent Recruiters in driving positive end-to-end experiences for candidates as they progress through the recruiting funnel from applicant to offer. Admin support including data entry, calendaring interviews/program events, and managing adhoc tasks in our systems.
  • Maintains robust relationships by providing excellent customer service to candidates, key stakeholders (business leaders/executives) and cross-functional business partners. In order to effectively execute recruiting logistics, acquire a baseline understanding of recruiting philosophy and program offers.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for candidates and business partners throughout the interview process and works with the recruiting team to identify opportunities that will enhance the interview, candidate, and hiring manager experience. Coordinates interviews, new hire communications to hiring teams, and business partners.
  • Manages pre-season recruiting event logistics for Career fairs, Gap Inc. Recruiting events & recruiter & business partner travel.


Who you are

  • Demonstrate customer curiosity and relates well to all levels of candidates and employees; builds appropriate rapport; and builds effective partnerships.
  • Proven ability to own it, do it, and get it done by working effectively with teams/colleagues across the org. and demonstrate accountability and attention to detail to see workstreams through to the end.
  • Ability to operate with a sense of urgency while successfully handling competing priorities/tasks.
  • Savvy on how organizations work; knows how to get things done both through formal channels and the informal network.
  • Try fast, learn fast, think big by presenting problem analysis and recommended solutions in a creative and logical manner.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook & Excel) preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills-strong attention to detail and organization skills
