The HR Officer based in our office in Berlin is a hands-on job that is directly responsible for the day-to-day HR management for our local office staff and ensuring that processes run smoothly in accordance to our company's principles and values.

Our office in Berlin is an international Tech Hub that is growing and developing fast.

You will report directly to the HR Manager based in our headquarter in Paris with a dotted line to local Management. Join Vestiaire Collective!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Onboarding operations:

• • Coordinate with Paris HR/Admin team to support on onboarding procedures including welcoming of new joiners to provide a great employee experience starting their 1 st day within the company (and before this 1 st day).
  • Support work permit requirements for expatriate staff in Berlin, in relation with Paris Admin team.

Administrative Operations:

• Assist in a variety of administrative tasks (draft working certificates, employment contracts, etc.)
• Ensure personnel actions are compliant with Vestiaire Collective policies and procedures, contract requirements, regulations, local Labour law, etc.
• Maintain personnel records in accordance with Vestiaire Collective documentation requirements

Offboarding operations:

• Coordinate with Paris HR/Admin team to support on offboarding procedures, including arranging exit interviews, and collection of all equipment and termination documents

HR operations:

• Serve as the main "go-to" person for a rapidly growing team and help wherever necessary
• Foster and support a positive company culture
• Apply group standard processes locally and support the HR Manager based in Paris in all process issues
• Working closely with the reporting lines to contribute on various HR topics
• Stay connected to the HR group community and develop/share local initiatives
• Do a regular reporting

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Apprenticeship and/or bachelor's degree in business administration
• First experience in the field of HR (administration) with a knowledge of the local Labour law and the Berlin market in terms of comp & ben, etc.
• Autonomous, well-organized, pragmatical and problem-solving
• Outstanding communication skills, self-starter, drive and efficiency
• Excellent English and German language skills
