Tomorrow is a multi-service business accelerator for fashion brands. The Group helps brands to develop and achieve sustainable growth through a fully integrated service offering that includes investment, sales and distribution, consultancy and production. Tomorrow is led by CEO Stefano Martinetto and Chief Revenue Officer Giancarlo Simiri, which they acquired in 2011, with a vision to champion and foster entrepreneurial creativity within the fashion industry. The Group now has a carefully curated portfolio of emerging and established talent, across premium and contemporary menswear, womenswear and accessories, each working with one or more of Tomorrow’s integrated services. Tomorrow’s headquarter is in London with offices and showrooms in London, Milan, Paris, New York and Hong Kong. It currently employs 150+ people across three continents.

The Group marketing team at Tomorrow is responsible for all brand, marketing, communications / PR and events activity across the Tomorrow brand, offers close support to the Tomorrow Projects team based in NYC and Milan, and also plays a key supporting role across the brands that the Group has invested in. 

The Group marketing function at Tomorrow is recently established, and this is an incredibly exciting time to join as the Group accelerates its brand and communications activities, as well as the brands that we are investing in.

SCOPE

The Social Media Lead will be based in the Group Marketing department and will develop, own, drive and measure the global social media output for Tomorrow and Tomorrow Projects through the @tomorrowcrew channels, as well as offering support across the Group’s invested brands.  The role will be responsible for developing the overall social strategy with the overall comms strategy, and seeing to its implementation, setting the KPIs to measure success and reporting back to key stakeholders on performance. Overall, the role is responsible for boosting the visibility of Tomorrow’s online presence and cultivating improved customer engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will develop and maintain global social media calendars, working closely with DTC, Wholesale and Projects teams ensuring synergy and alignment with marketing objectives across Tomorrow social channels, as well as utilising both Julie Gilhart’s and Stefano Martinetto’s personal profiles
  • You will collaborate with the CMO and central content production and editorial teams and sales teams with asset selection and copy drafting
  • You will establish KPIs across Tomorrow social channels and measure against their performance, including key takeaways and insights and providing recommendations for further improvements
  • You will prepare weekly and monthly reports with the CMO and other key stakeholders providing crucial information and analysis that will form wider data-driven social media and brand communications strategies
  • You will be the main point of contact with our wholesale partners’ marketing teams ensuring that their brand DNA is respected and delivered upon across all Tomorrow social accounts
  • You will monitor and report on the content activity of competitors, brands and influencers across global social media networks
  • You will drive Tomorrow’s presence on untapped social media networks carving out the manner in which we operate and communicate with the new audiences these offer
  • You will regularly monitor and respond to customer feedback, comments and social media posts
  • You will stay on top of social media trends and best practices and ensure they are layered into the overall strategy as applicable 
  • You will support in building out a strategy to grow Tomorrow’s followers, reach and engagement across social media platforms and help do the same for our Investment Brands, where appropriate, by leveraging our Tomorrow channels for marketing exposure to extend their reach and growth
  • You will partner with the Digital and Marketing teams to align on a social media marketing strategy that delivers the right mix of content, balancing across Tomorrow, our B2B business, and our Investment Brands.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Experience and skills

  • 2-3 years experience working in a social media or wider communications role 
  • Experience across social media platforms, and working with these in both Europe and North America
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Ability to select and curate imagery and assets in combination with creative and design teams for deployment across social platforms
  • An understanding of SEO, web traffic metrics and keyword search
  • Entrepreneurial and a natural problem solver with experience working in high growth organisations that have faced-paced, reactive environments with overlaying priorities and deadlines
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Strong personal visual aesthetic and interest in visual arts and design
  • A deep understanding of and passion for the fashion industry
  • An avid user of social media networks with a deep understanding of how their algorithms work and can be exploited
  • Naturally curious, pragmatic and non-linear thinker leading you to be experimentative and innovative
  • Excellent communication skills in order to liaise cross-functionally 
  • Strong networking skills to form relationships with influencers and KOLs
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively
