We are seeking someone with demonstrated leadership in digital product development and project management to help us build and scale our Investment Brand sites as well as redesign our Digital Showroom, both of which are a key focus within the business. You’ll report to the Director of Digital Commerce and be responsible for setting, managing and optimizing the tech roadmap, prioritizing projects based on ROI potential and the needs of each of the Investment brands and Tomorrow.

You’ll oversee the entire lifecycle of the digital product, from inception to launch.  The role will also be responsible for managing the budget for and relationship with our dev agency and aligning on their sprint schedule.  You’ll work closely with our Digital Design lead, the trade team and the Investment brand teams to balance the tech needs across all parties while maintaining a constant focus on improving the customer user journey, identifying customer pain points and problems through various research and testing methods, and then implementing design solutions.  You’ll act as a mediator between the consumers and the design and technical teams, communicating consumer needs and translating those needs into new product features for design.  As Tomorrow develops, the role will be critical to identifying opportunities, building digital solutions, and growing our digital product. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the overall vision of the digital products and managing rollouts into a successful launch
  • Monitoring and managing product schedules, breaking down the key roadmap items into phases and assignments, scopes and budgets. 
  • Partnering with the Trade Manager and Digital Product Manager, lead in shaping the tech product roadmap, helping define the work plan and ensuring that on-site feature and functionality enhancements are carried out to improve the customer experience
  • Working closely with the tech team and our external dev agency to manage the product roadmap timings and backlog to ensure we deliver all capabilities on time and per expectation
  • Conducting user research and usability studies, collaborating with designers and developers
  • Assessing potential financial impact and ROI of proposed products and 3rd party solutions for effective prioritization and product selection
  • Assisting the trade and design teams in sourcing and selection of 3rd parties / external partners that can provide product solutions and features
  • Supporting the team in selecting and building out Tomorrow's tech stack, centred around the product strategy and long-term vision 
  • Acting as an advocate for the end-users and build and improve features based on their pain points
  • Monitoring and evaluating product performance to ensure constant product iteration and improvements, making recommendations for future focuses

Personal attributes

  • Passionate about building great products and loves to discover and problem-solve through research, prototyping, visualization, testing, and analysis
  • Proactive and able to simplify complex workflows
  • Analytic comprehension and a customer-first mindset
  • Strong understanding of back-end and front-end programming languages
  • Strong Technical Knowledge including code, being up to date about the latest software developments and automation software
  • Ability to craft a product vision (short to long term) and convert that into a concrete strategy
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time wisely across projects and competing priorities, meet agreed upon deadlines, and be accountable for project delivery 
  • Experience managing across multiple brands/stakeholders
  • Commercially-minded outlook
  • Practice design thinking, with an ability to solve problems through designs that span both technology, UI/UX and the overall customer experience.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment – is proactive, agile and can adapt easily to change

Experience and skills

  • 3-5 years experience in digital product management
  • Experience writing SQL queries, experience with back-end and front-end programming languages, such as Java, HTML, CSS, Angular JS
  • Usability and customer-focused design experience a plus
  • Understanding the consumer psychology and marketing is a plus
