JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Director for Europe and the Middle East will work to develop seasonal marketing strategies that deliver on both brand and business goals. As a key player on the European leadership team, this position will drive development of strategic marketing priorities, spearhead customer engagement initiatives, implement seasonal plans and allocate investments, and conduct robust analysis of marketing program effectiveness.

S/he will work closely with global partners in New York to ensure programming and content provide the best representation of the brand, while accounting for the cultural nuances of the local customer.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Integrated Marketing
  • Apply extensive knowledge and understanding of the European Customer mindset and leverage local insights to shape local marketing programming to ensure local relevance and resonance.
  • In partnership with the European Brand President and Global Integrated Marketing team in NYC, drive the overarching annual strategic marketing priorities and key initiatives against our DTC (direct to consumer) and wholesale businesses as well as overarching brand goals across Europe and the Middle East.
  • Manage budget and timeline, and drive investment strategy against key business and customer priorities.
  • Lead seasonal regional Integrated Marketing planning process, establishing objectives and priorities, developing key strategies, and integrating channel tactics.
  • Work in partnership with the Integrated Marketing team in New York, to ensure corporate alignment to local strategy, programming, communication cadence, and promotional calendar.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of all business metrics and specific drivers of retail performance, and wholesale growth. Continuously refine marketing strategy and propose actions to accelerate the busines.
  • Lead development of clear and comprehensive briefs from asset capture to channel execution.
  • Oversee implementation of all integrated plans across functions, including retail, wholesale, PR/Events, merchandising and digital teams.
  • Develop rigorous marketing program analysis and hindsight practice. Set KPIs, measure results, identify drivers, and recommend strategic optimizations accordingly. Communicate learnings internally to inform future strategies.

CRM & Brand Awareness
  • Build and develop relationships with consumers and landlords to drive brand desirability and exposure.
  • Partner with CRM team to deepen clienteling practices and drive customer loyalty, develop strategies to improve data capture rate in stores.
  • Review and optimize our clienteling content toolkit seasonally.


Digital
  • Partner with the digital marketing team to drive effective digital branding strategies against our seasonal brand and product marketing objectives.
  • Develop seasonal digital branding briefs and host kick offs with digital team.
  • Monitor performance against digital branding goals and hindsight results to optimize future campaigns.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in a multi-channel marketing role.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead successful campaigns, from strategic development to implementation and analysis.
  • Digital marketing fluency with strong understanding of digital branding strategies.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and focused.
  • Proven track record of successfully taking ideas from concept through implementation.
  • Ability to identify and develop relationships with key internal and external partners.
  • Desire to develop talent and foster growth among junior team members.
  • Strong analytical, project management and communication skills.
