As a Junior Content Manager for the Partner Program - our marketplace model -, you will join the Partner Communications team on our mission to create and distribute engaging content that enables our existing and prospective partner base to drive their business on Zalando.

In this role, you will professionalize and manage content creation and its respective calendar to create engaging communication touchpoints for a) Educational content for existing partners b) Partner Acquisition (lead generation) across different formats and channels. As well, you will plan, manage and execute webinars and video creation.

To succeed, you will need to have a strong understanding of the fashion industry and e-commerce, be detail-oriented, well-organized, be creative when creating content and copywriting, and be able to handle multiple stakeholders simultaneously with ease.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
  • Content creation and copywriting: You will create impeccable, on-brand content across various communication touchpoints including our partner-facing newsletter, social media (LinkedIn), webinars, scripts for how-to videos, infographics, and success stories focused on the Partner Program. You will also collaborate in the creation of presentation decks, ensuring high quality copy across all touchpoints.
  • Event and content management: You will orchestrate the content and events calendar across the different channels, focusing on educating our partners on growth opportunities and how to leverage Zalando's services for their success on our platform as well as lead generation. In addition, you will coordinate and execute webinars, as well as the recording of how-to videos.
  • Impact tracking: You will leverage your analytical skills and commercial acumen to measure the effectiveness of our content by tracking analytics and distilling the numbers into learnings and key takeaways.
  • Education: You will liaise regularly with the Partner Program teams (e.g. Commercial, Operational, Product), as well as the supporting services (e.g. Zalando Fulfillment Solutions) to understand our partners' perspectives and how we can support them through our communication formats. You will put yourself in our partners shoes to translate complex corporate topics into engaging and informative editorial content formats, to do this, you will also be in touch with individual partners to gather best practices and learnings to share, e.g. via case studies.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Literature/Humanities, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • You are passionate about e-commerce and have at least 2 years experience in a similar role in copywriting, marketing or communications, preferably at a fashion, lifestyle or tech company.
  • You're a born project manager. Your structured and organized approach has a calming effect on your co-workers. You can prioritize and align multiple work-streams whilst keeping the big picture and deadlines in mind.
  • You are extremely organized and able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders at the same time. When getting the job done, you have a proactive, can-do attitude and are meticulous down to the last detail. You are eager to learn and feel responsible for the quality and contribution of your work.
  • You are a clear, well-structured and engaging communicator in written and oral communications in English. Native English speakers are preferred for this role, German is a plus.
  • Experience with communication channels and tooling, such as Salesforce, LinkedIn, MailChimp, and/or content management systems is a big plus.
