Production Operative

JOB PURPOSE

The main purpose is to work individually or as part of a team to manufacture and to provide assistance to the production line where and whenever required. The skill machinist will be supporting the self-contained pocket area to achieve the daily KPI's.
The Job will include using multiple pocket machines within the department.

The pocket operation is one of the first jobs done on the garment once cut within the cutting room. When the pockets are complete, the work can then be put in to the cutting room Kanban for the factory cell departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow instruction and monitor work practices to ensure that our products are made to agreed specifications.
• Adhere to quality procedures following our quality guidelines.
• Ensure continuous production is maintained.
• Operate equipment and machinery in a responsible manner, in line with the Health and Safety Policy.
• Working in a small team alongside the cutting Room T/Leader's
