Senior Manager, Logistics & Warehouse Operations

Ten Thousand is looking for a dynamic Senior Manager, Logistics & Warehouse Operations to drive operational excellence and ensure a seamless logistical experience for all finished goods, from when they leave our factories to when they arrive at our end customers’ doors. Working closely with our Co-Founder & COO and Sourcing & Production function, you will work cross-functionally to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Distribution Center and ensure the timely, accurate, and efficient receipt of all shipments, while also ensuring that distribution strategy evolves with our merchandise offering and that our carrier and supplier base, processes, and systems scale to meet business needs. The ideal candidate is a motivated and quantitatively-savvy individual who is as comfortable rolling their sleeves up as they are working cross-functionally on strategic initiatives that optimize the customer experience for cost, consistency and speed. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage all day-to-day warehouse communications and operations and provide proactive short-term and long-term logistics solutions for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor fulfillment times, receiving times, and other 3PL and carrier KPIs to ensure 3PL partners are meeting or exceeding SLAs.
• Analyze shipping and fulfillment costs to identify potential cost savings through renegotiated agreements, new warehouse partners, and other systems or process improvements.
• Coordinate all inbound freight with our Sourcing & Production team to ensure timely receipt of goods in our DC
• Identify any freight discrepancies or damages, and troubleshoot accordingly
• Audit fulfillment and shipping invoices to ensure accuracy and consistency 
• Partner cross-functionally with the Planning & Buying, Sourcing & Production, and Accounting teams to implement appropriate inventory controls and ensure accurate inventory data across all systems including IMS/ERP, 3PL portals, etc.
• Develop strategic plans to improve the productivity, quality, and efficiency of shipping and warehouse operations while maintaining excellent customer experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 6+ years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, distribution, or fulfillment, with a focus on 3PL management. DTC apparel brand experience preferred.
• 2+ years of team management experience
• Deep understanding of standard WMS, IMS, OMS, and ERP systems. Experience migrating to an ERP a significant plus
• Have the ability to see and create the bigger long term picture yet quickly implement and iterate to drive impact
• Inspiration of an architect to structure solutions, and the discipline of an engineer to craft and maintain portfolios of reports and dashboards
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented
• Affinity for all things data
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with a high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity, and efficient with limited resources
• Humility and eagerness to learn and grow
• A passion for fitness and an appreciation for Ten Thousand’s brand values a significant plus
