JOB PURPOSE

Support the Marketing Manager on brand, product, retail and wholesale marketing functional planning, working in collaboration with all Marketing & Communications channels in the development of regional marketing plans and streamlining communication between region and global.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and assist Sr. Events Manager on event opportunities, event and partnership logistics, day to day sourcing event partners, sourcing charity and partnership groups for Burberry Flagship events and the Americas

• Provide logistical support for commercial, brand, wholesale and internal events - this includes coordination of catering, evite/invite management, calendar management, list and RSVP coordination, recaps and follow from events, HFH Event recaps, delivery of collateral and communication to the stores

• Update the Business Action Meeting on a bi-weekly basis

• Liaise and communicate with London Office to create invites/evites, update calendars and agendas for partnerships and events

• Coordinate and communicate with London on a weekly conference call to discuss pending events

• Manage upkeep of Americas events contact lists for vendors, suppliers, charities, guests lists and hosts

• Handle payment of all event related invoices and work with Sr. Event Manager on individual event budgets as this will allow for organization of the overall events budget.

• Work to streamline events communications and manage the events calendar, working closely with Client Engagement, Visual Merchandising, Retail Operations and Marketing

• Perform ROI analysis and compile key learnings and results post events

• Other administrative duties as needed

PERSONAL PROFILE

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Keynote, Adobe Illustrator, Fashion GPS
• Knowledge of the marketplace and pop culture trends
• Appreciation and general understanding of the luxury industry
• 1-3 years of experience planning and executing events, preferably within Retail, Fashion and/or PR Agency
• Ability to work evenings and some weekends
• Some travel required; up to 20%
