The Operations Team is the engine that drives the delivery process and provides support on a daily basis to achieving business objectives. The operations team consists of Intake and returns, Shipping, and Fulfillment. The Operations Team partners with our Tech and IT teams to ensure that business flow processes are not interrupted in our efforts to service the business needs.


The Director of International operations will achieve the daily goals of the EU and APAC 3PL warehouses, trade compliance and global logistics oversight. This can only be made possible through team management, development and leadership and collaboration with all partners. You will report directly to the VP of Operations and will work with the US SG operation team, Finance, Merchandising/supply, CS team, global Farfetch teams, EU and APAC 3PL warehouse, transportation and drop ship partners to achieve SLA requirements that ensure outstanding customer service. The Director of International Operations will analyze our needs, identify and recommend trade solutions opportunities to meet our evolving our needs. We ask that you have an obsession for detail, process-oriented, passion for process improvement, international trade expertise, and management of both onsite and remote EU and APAC teams and partners.


    • You will analyze our trade processes, costs and charges to identify improvement opportunities based on our changing needs.
    • You will Work with internal SG and FF teams to onboard new Drop ship and only suppliers.
    • You will Strategic and Daily Planning - Lead in setting the strategy for the EU and APAC intake and fulfillment operations to achieve daily goals.
    • You will Develop and evaluate operational SOP's and policies and process improvement strategies.
    • You will Participate in inter-departmental meetings partnering with department heads to build synergies encouraging communication, cooperation and teamwork.
    • You will Implement strategies that commit to providing a positive, safe work experience for our employees.
    • You will coach and motivate staff. Provide ongoing feedback promoting growth and sustained improvement. Create an environment that ensures a high level of employee engagement
    • You will Maintain EU and APAC operations documentation such as SOP's, job descriptions, performance management of staff Ensure procedures are maintained and the department and team members are operating and performing to standard.
    • You will Work with other teams to communicate the impact of changes to demand, supply and network assumptions.
    • You will report on daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs by team member and department.
    • You will research and implement process improvements to our intake and fulfillment operational performance by looking for areas of inefficiencies in all processes.
    • You will apply the continuous improvement mindset to your workload


    • You have global eCommerce import/export trade compliance and strategy experience.
    • You can manage on site and remote teams, 3PL warehouses and logistic partners
    • You have BA or equivalent experience preferably in a related area (supply chain, finance, engineering, or economics)
    • Ideal, 3+ years experience in a high volume, high growth start up.
    • You are process-oriented and can apply the continuous improvement mindset to all work streams
    • You have soft skill set to provide ongoing coaching to team members and leads
    • You have mathematical skills; comfortable with thinking critically to resolve issues.
    • You are comfortable with using ERP/WMS systems; experience with Magento, X3 and 3PL WMS.
    • You are comfortable presenting to teams in a concise manner.
    • You can balance tactical planning with a "bigger picture" mentality
    • You can complete several tasks simultaneously.
