About the role

In this role, you will report to the Senior Director, Tax Reporting and Compliance as a part of a team that is responsible for income tax accounting, reporting, compliance, and controls with an emphasis in the international tax provision area. The role also involves project management for a broad range of tax projects and corporate transactions. You will provide subject matter expertise and guidance on matters related to tax compliance, tax accounting, and tax regulation (foreign and domestic). You will partner with many parts of the organization, including teams in Strategy, Legal, Payroll, Compensation, Internal Audit, Corporate Controller's Group, Treasury, and FP+A. You will assist in the preparation and review of interim and annual global income tax provisions under ASC 740, as well as preparation and review of tax accounting internal and external deliverables. You will also assist with foreign, federal, state and local income and franchise tax compliance.

What you'll do

  • Better integrate the international tax reporting compliance within the overall tax accounting and reporting process
  • Play a key role in coordinating Tax Department engagement and deliverables in a broad range of domestic and foreign corporate transactions
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls (Sarbanes-Oxley) and proper documentation of processes in order to minimize tax risk
  • Partner with Domestic and International Tax teams to deliver technical analysis, calculations and documentation supporting the income tax provision computations
  • Project management support of both Tax and business initiatives, build tax and project management skills, and partner with an experienced and collegial team of tax professionals
  • Analyze provision processes and develop recommendations for scalable efficiencies and improvements including implementation of tax accounting software


Who you are

  • Expertise and an ability to build further knowledge of federal taxation and tax planning with general knowledge of international income tax laws and current developments
  • Project management experience with top-notch organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to assess large amounts of data, apply concepts of ASC 740, and produce high quality analysis of the impacts to a global income tax provision
  • Proven track record of delivering results through preparation and review of a global income tax provision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate in a team setting with tax department members, internal business partners, and outside advisers
  • Ability to work independently and problem solve
  • Advanced technology skills with the ability to use VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and other functions daily; experience with tax software including OneSource Tax Provision and CSC Corptax
