Based in New York City, the Inventory Control department is a key part of the Finance team and is tasked with overseeing the constant flow of units into and out of our US inventory. The Inventory Control Manager will provide guidance, key analytics and advice to senior management in order for the organization to make informed stock-related decisions in both a Retail and Wholesale environment. The Inventory Control Manager will play a crucial role in having complete end-to-end control over the entire US stock.

Your Mission:
  • Coordinate and manage daily physical and perpetual cycle counting efforts for all US Retail locations
  • Perform the daily / weekly / monthly Sales Audit functions
  • Monitor and manage all Intercompany & Store To Store transfers
  • Facilitate manual Purchase Orders Invoice creation and upload
  • Manage and improve the current RTV process and follow RTVs all the way until a credit note is issued
  • Validate all Markdowns / Price Change events are properly loaded in the system ahead of Worldwide deadlines
  • Perform weekly checks of pending transfers, consignments and price events
  • Report, monitor, update and review daily inventory adjustments and changes
  • Resolve inventory issues / discrepancies, problem orders and intercompany transfer issues
  • Conduct daily analyses to anticipate and resolve potential inventory problems
  • Report on Inventory activities, changes and variances
  • Partner with local and Worldwide Merchandising and Finance teams to develop and maintain appropriate inventory related processes, procedures, best practices and controls
  • Review Damage stock transfers and adjustments with Merchandising team
  • Manage / attend annual physical inventories at all US Retail locations
  • Support stores with all stock / system related issues
  • Team with Retail Operations Manager to update any existing guides, policies or procedures
  • Assist with Inventory related projects as needed
  • Submit price changes/price event activation in season
  • Create spreadsheets to open POs for license goods deliveries monthly
  • Compile list of all styles on order for license goods to insert Cost and Retail values locally
  • Batch to Stores License goods units after they have been received into warehouse stock in bulk (per original order/POs)
  • Create markdown file for price changes and calculate projected markdown dollars twice per year- first and second markdown per WW flagging/carryover list
  • Open POs for uniform shipments or any shipment not EDI'd so they can be received in stock

Your Talent:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Inventory training or technical certification a plus
  • Experience in Inventory, Distribution and Operations procedures
  • Ability to multitask and work independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
  • Well organized, efficient and able to managed a varied workload
  • Solid understanding of distribution environment
  • Accounting degree

Systems & Essentials:
  • Advanced Excel skills a plus (intermediate level fluency in Excel is required)
  • ERP knowledge
  • Stealth experience a plus
