Primary Purpose:

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in the wholesale department to...
sales:
- management of multiple major department store accounts and online businesses with a strategic focus on quality of sale
- fluid communication with internal and exterior partners on a weekly basis; developing strong relationships with key department store contacts
- take a proactive approach to making recommendations to further drive the business in-season, identify and react to new opportunities by reviewing and analyzing sales data and feedback from colleagues
- fiscal responsibility to include: weekly order management of both fashion and replenishment, reorders, maintain bulk order integrity, daily shipping, monthly allocation calls
- lead showroom presentations and assortment recommendations for clients
- effectively communicate business goals to internal and external partners and cross-functional teams, as needed
- keep abreast of competitive market place
planning:
- fluid relationship with account planners to revise projections and support business demand, determine risk and opportunity across category
- maximize brand profitability, further develop replenishment strategy and management
- partner with planner to manage open-to-buy (otb), forecasting and assortment recommendation plan by month, analyze market share to impact regionalized opportunities
marketing:
- partner with cross-category leaders within wholesale to leverage lifestyle brand focus
- partner with marketing to effectively communicate brand and seasonal product initiatives filtering through the wholesale lens, to the final customer via digital, print and in-store collateral
- manage online presentation and brand shop recommendations with marketing support

The accomplished individual will possess...
- 3-5 years of wholesale experience (buying/planning necessary if no wholesale) working with major department stores
- Previous experience in an AE position
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs to include: word, powerpoint and outlook
- Advanced excel skills including formulas, v-look up/pivot tables,
- An understanding of retail financial measurements & OTB
- Travel expectation at least 3-4x per year
- Exemplary level of customer service

- Prior experience working with Nordstrom, Macys, Dillard's preferred
- Past experience working with RTW is preferred
