Jr. Operations Planner
HUGO BOSS Fashions, Inc. | New York City | United States | Full-time

Work as a liaison between the sales and logistics. This includes, but is not limited to, helping to ensure all shipments go out on time, maintaining all operational tables, acting as key point of contact for any one-off logistical issues, and creating long-term business solutions. This position also requires "outside-the-box" thinking in order to come up with creative ways to better present information to help grow a profitable business.

What you can expect:

  • Ensure shipments go out within ship window by coordinating with logistics
  • Key liaison between IT and sales to maintain customer needs from both an operational and logistics within the system
  • Maintain & update Customer Master Database by working with sales & logistics
  • Create & maintain key reports
  • Utilize available analysis to identify key opportunities & risks
  • Assist in projecting & submitting basic shipments for key customers
  • Utilize SAP & BIS to pull reports
  • Assist Planning team to help achieve department goals
  • Manage and maintain all value-add services on a customer / material level
  • Assist in managing and maintaining all drop-ship inventory in SAP
  • Create and run ad hoc reports that provide relevant analysis to operational topics


Your profile:

  • 1-3 years of retail experience
  • General understanding of the department store business and how to analyze the business with "retail math" (ie., VMT reports, sell through, on-hands, inventory, and margin) with room to grow
  • General comfort level with public speaking and conducting presentations to retail executives
  • Excellent computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel
  • BS College Degree (preferably in Business or Fashion Merchandising)
