JOB SUMMARY

JOB DESCRIPTION

ART DIRECTOR, DIGITAL

Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Art Director and VP of Art and Branding in the development of innovative design concepts for digital experiences (site, email, digital ads, etc.)
  • Actively design layouts/comps in collaboration with the editorial team to create compelling stories in line with each season's inspiration and campaign.
  • Actively communicate with cross-functional partners to understand the strategy and deliverables, and articulate creative thinking behind the aesthetic and design decisions
  • Understand the learnings from previous campaigns and continue to push the creative
  • Research and be inspired by current trends in the fashion and design industry
  • Ensure the level of excellence in all creative with a keen eye for typography, graphic design, illustration and animation.


Education & Prior Experience

  • 7+ years of relevant experience (preferably in the fashion industry)
  • Proficient in Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator and Keynote. AfterEffects and AEM are a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in communication design or a related field
  • Strong presentation skills and excellent communicator
  • Highly driven. Proactive and takes initiative
  • A strong background in fashion forward typography and design is a must.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Solution-oriented
