RETAIL/WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR

 

THE RETAIL/WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR IS A KEY ROLE IN OUR DISTRIBUTION CENTER (DC) AND IN MANAGING THE FULFILLMENT OF ORDERS TO OUR RETAIL STORES, EVENTS, AND PARTNERSHIPS. THIS POSITION MANAGES ALL TRANSFER ORDERS, INVENTORY TRANSFERS, OUTBOUND PACKAGES, AND MAINTAINS THE INTEGRITY OF OUR COMPANY BY KEEPING OUR HIGH-QUALITY CONTROL STANDARDS. WORKING CLOSELY WITH THE WAREHOUSE MANAGER TO REPORT ANY ISSUES THAT THEY SEE WITH A PRODUCT, ATTENTION TO DETAIL, ACCURACY, AND MAINTAINING EFFICIENCY ARE CRITICAL TO THIS POSITION. OUR RETAIL/WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR’S RESPONSIBILITIES ARE KEY COMPONENTS OF OUR CUSTOMER’S EXPERIENCE, AND THE POSITION SETS THE TONE FOR WHAT OUR NEW CUSTOMERS CAN EXPECT WHEN THEY OPEN THEIR PACKAGE.

  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

PULLING, PROCESSING & SHIPPING/RECEIVING SPECIFICS

  • RESPONSIBLE FOR PULLING AND PREPARING RETAIL TRANSFER ORDERS, INVENTORY TRANSFERS, AND OUTBOUND ORDERS ACCORDING TO SCHEDULE.
  • PREPARE ORDERS TO BE FULFILLED FOLLOWING PROTOCOL INCLUDING PULLING ITEMS, PLACING ORDERS IN THE SHIPPING AREA, ASSISTING WITH VERIFYING SHIPPING ADDRESSES, AND ASSISTING WITH GENERAL DAILY SHIPMENT VOLUME.
  • MAINTAIN HIGH PACKING STANDARDS AND QUALITY CONTROL INCLUDING STEAMING, NOTIFYING RETURNS OF REPAIRS, AND LINT ROLLING PRODUCT BEFORE IT GETS PACKED.
  • ASSIST WITH MANAGING OUR 71LBS SHIPPING AUDIT ACCOUNT.
  • ASSIST WITH PROCESSING INTERNATIONAL ORDERS AND VENDOR / PR SHIPMENTS
  • ASSIST WITH FOLLOWING UP ON ANY ISSUES WITH THE SPECIFIED CARRIER AND EXPEDITING ANY SPECIAL SHIPMENTS
  • ASSIST WITH RECEIVING MERCHANDISE AND VERIFYING THE BILL OF LADING AND DELIVERY NOTE; VERIFY THAT SHIPMENTS ARE INTACT AND REPORT ANY DEFECTS.
  • ASSIST WITH MONITORING INTERNAL EMAIL FOR SHIPMENT INFORMATION.

EVENTS AND PARTNERSHIP SUPPORT

  • COORDINATE WITH EVENTS AND PARTNERSHIPS TEAM TO PREPARE SHIPMENTS FOR LOCAL AND GLOBAL EVENTS AND ACTIVATIONS, INCLUDING PULLING AND PREPARING TRANSFER ORDERS, PLUS ARRANGING SHIPPING OR DELIVERY.
  • COORDINATE 3RD PARTY AND/OR CUSTOMER PICK-UPS FROM OUR RETAIL STORES OR OFFSITE EVENT LOCATIONS.
  • ASSIST IN PROCURING SUPPLIES FOR EVENTS AND THE RETAIL STORE AS NECESSARY (FURNITURE, FLORALS, ROLLING RACKS, SEASONAL CARDS, ETC.)
  • ASSIST THE WAREHOUSE TEAM WITH INVENTORY RECONCILIATION AFTER EVENTS.
  • REPORT INVENTORY DISCREPANCIES TO THE WAREHOUSE MANAGER.
  • ASSIST WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR SALES EVENTS.

WAREHOUSE AND STORE SUPPORT

  • ASSIST THE WAREHOUSE MANAGER WITH INVENTORY COUNTS AND VERIFICATION OF STOCK BY PERFORMING PHYSICAL COUNTS.
  • ASSIST WITH THE ORGANIZATION AND CLEANLINESS OF THE WAREHOUSE/STOCKROOM/SHOWROOM, SORTING MERCHANDISE INTO APPROPRIATE WAREHOUSE LOCATIONS; I.E. PLACE ITEMS ON RACKS, SHELVES OR IN BINS ACCORDING TO ORGANIZATIONAL STANDARDS.
  • RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THAT SAFE AND CLEAN WORK ENVIRONMENT STANDARDS OF THE COMPANY ARE MET.
  • RESPONSIBLE FOR UNDERSTANDING OF CURRENT PRODUCT        
  • ASSIST WITH GENERAL WAREHOUSE TASKS AS NEEDED (LABELING, DISTRIBUTING TRIM/RAW MATERIALS INVENTORY TO PRODUCTION TEAM, ETC.).
  • ASSIST WITH HANG TAGGING AND IDENTIFYING ITEMS.
  • ASSIST WITH REMOVAL OF CARDBOARD, TRASH, AND PALLETS.
  • COMMUNICATE FROM SHARED AND DIRECT EMAIL ACCOUNTS.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 YEARS WAREHOUSE EXPERIENCE
  • 1-2 YEARS RETAIL EXPERIENCE
  • ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND KNOWLEDGE OF APPAREL
  • STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS
  • A TEAM MEMBER WHO WORKS WELL WITH OTHERS
  • REGULARLY LIFT AND MOVE OBJECTS WEIGHING 10- 50 LBS. OCCASIONALLY LIFT AND MOVE OBJECTS THAT WEIGH MORE THAN 100 LBS.
  • FREQUENTLY REQUIRED TO STAND, WALK, STOOP, KNEEL, CROUCH, OR CRAWL
  • OCCASIONALLY REQUIRED TO SIT AND CLIMB OR BALANCE.
