Paper Mache Tiger have a rare and exciting opportunity for a full time Store Manager position based in their London Showroom to join the team. We are looking for someone that is experienced, enthusiastic and has an extensive understanding of the fashion and home ware/ lifestyle industry.

The successful candidate will be passionate and dedicated to the Paper Mache Tiger store development. Providing the best visual merchandising, excellent product knowledge and strong leadership.

As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the security of the store and lead the team to hit targets.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Being present on the shop floor - offering exceptional customer service at all times
  • Lead a strong shop floor team to perform consistently
  • Recruit, train, supervise and appraise staff 
  • Drive sales and encourage customer relationship development (blackbook clients)
  • Develop store strategies to raise footfall, expand store traffic and optimise profitability
  • Manage and deliver daily, weekly and monthly reporting
  • Manage store inventory; stock – takes and stock levels
  • Collaborate and assist with buying, merchandising and planning
  • Offer Visual Merchandising ideas and ensure the store looks fresh and exciting, maintaining the stores appearance
  • Rota Management for both the store and the café (baristas)
  • Ensure the security of the shop and stock at all times
  • Manage orders, invoices, deliveries and all store logistics
  • Develop close relationships with suppliers, external contractors and source new connections and collaborators to ensure market position
  • Set challenging yet achievable targets and store goals
  • Manage the shop space and health and safety aspects
  • Oversee the café team

  • Proven successful experience as a Retail Store Manager
  • Powerful leadership skills and business orientation
  • Customer management skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A natural problem solver, who thinks logically and is not afraid of a challenge
  • Someone who enjoys taking ownership of a project and seeing it develop
  • Enthusiastic and eager to develop and grow within the company
  • Confident using Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite
  • Experience in creating newsletters/ use of Mailchimp
  • Visual Merchandising skills
  • Barista skills would be a plus but not essential
