Reporting to the Regional Accounting Manager, the Accounts Receivable Assistant will have a great exposure in the day to day functions of the Accounts Receivable Department from overseeing processing of all 3rd party customer invoices and queries to gaining exposure to the other parts of the business and systems.

The Key Objectives of The Role Will Include:
  • Accounts Receivable Assistant for UK, France and Spain.
  • Managing new customer setups / change requests.
  • Coding 3rd party customer invoices; including review of VAT.
  • Entering and posting manual intercompany invoices.
  • Producing customer statement reconciliations and chasing payments.
  • Review of Aged Debtors listings to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Review of Aged Debtors listings and processing reports with balance commented.
  • Posting receipts from the cashbooks.
  • Farfetch reporting.
  • Credit collection.
  • Aiding Treasury Department (when required) for confirmation of Store Sale receipts.
  • Ensure that month end and year end deadlines are met
  • Reply to 3rd party customer queries.
  • Internal correspondence.
  • Ad hoc tasks as required.

Systems and Essentials
  • Good to excellent excel and general IT skills.
  • Studying an accounting course would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience with VAT would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Knowledge of Infor M3 or SAP systems would be beneficial but not essential as undergoing systems upgrade in 2022.
  • English / Italian / French / Spanish language skills would be beneficial but not essential.
