PRODUCTION & DEVELOPMENT INTERN

Lingua Franca is looking for a Production & Development intern to join our team! What you will be doing:

  • Assist in spec and quality control of production orders
  • Data entry into product management system
  • Build and manage wip charts, sales and inventory reporting, and data extraction charts
  • Attend cross-functional meeting with production, design, sales, e-commerce teams
  • Attend and assist in design and production fittings
  • Assist in Managing Design/Production archives (ie: building binders/organizing design boards, etc)
  • Assist in order and thread pulling
  • Assist in packing and shipping orders
  • Manage pickups and deliveries as needed
  • Research packaging and brand design - pull inspiration to help rethink packaging, sourcing, budgeting and guidelines
  • Market watch and reports
  • CAD colorups
  • Design inspiration and research pulls
  • Assist in sourcing and material gathering in midtown
  • Assisting with development sampling (ie: cut tickets and visiting our samplemaker/patternmakers in midtown)
  • Pantone and color pulling

Requirements:

  • Team player who will enthusiastically support the production team
  • Proficient in Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Understanding of patternmaking, specs, and garment construction
  • Excellent communicator, organized, with great attention to detail and follow-through
  • Experience with PLM system a plus
  • Fluent in English
  • Legally eligible to work in U.S.A
