HEAD OF BESPOKE AND MADE TO MEASURE

As Head of Bespoke, you will be working as part of the Atelier and Technical team to coordinate, manage and implement the bespoke client service across all relevant departments.

  The ideal candidate will:   

• Be flexible and pro-active, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Have the ability to balance workload of multiple projects, and communicate across departments to ensure deadlines are met
• Have an excellent understanding of the brand and customer, with experience in luxury design
• Have an eye for detail and diligent cross checking to make sure all pattern changes are implemented appropriately and that the changes are communicated to the relevant teams members

Responsibilities:

• Be present during all Bespoke client appointments to take notes, offer advice and make relevant suggestions regarding fabric and fit
• Managing the process from initial touch base with the client, through the fitting and confection stage, quality and control and delivering of the item to the client.
• Responsible for the creation and updating of client forms plus making sure that all relevant stakeholders receive the relevant information and necessary details
• Revising client and garment notes after each fitting and making the necessary changes to make sure all the information is passed on correctly
• Cross check that each individual project is viable by referencing historical patterns, projects and cross checking the both the Pattern Maker and the Seamstress in charge of the project
• Responsible for sourcing, ordering and organizing the necessary materials for each individual project, making sure that the items can be ordered within a viable time frame
• Keep an up to date file with the extra fabric meterage in the studio so the team is aware of what they are able to offer to a client at a given moment in time
• Being aware of all the lead times of the suppliers of the pieces ordered and making sure these are coherent with the dates provided to clients
• Updating the  “COUTURE CLIENTS” y “MADE TO MESURE” files and checking them daily
• Pattern cutting and supporting the atelier when necessary
• Participating in all design/development/salesman sample fittings, being on hand to attend in production fittings as necessary      
• Supervise the costing structure per garment and make sure all elements are considered and approved before proposing the total to the client   
• Support the Head o TECHNICAL in distributing atelier tasks in the work room specially when Bespoke orders are involved
• Fabric Stock control across the board as well as all the other necessary elements involved in the Bespoke or MTM process
• Managing the quality & Control for Bespoke garments and assisting with this process with the general collection when necessary
• Looking presentable during client facing appointments or events

Requirements: 

• Excellent knowledge of pattern cutting, alteration and fit
• Experience of marker making and grading would be an advantage
• MS office skills
• Attention to detail and good sketch interpretation skills
• Good team player
• Good communication skills
• Organised, efficient and schedule focused
