responsibilities:
- run weekly selling reports to recap and analyze business results, making recommendations for driving improved performance and identifying opportunities
- assist buyer in analyzing business reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- assist the buying team during market with product selection, assortment & order entry
- support buyer with visual recaps, boards and line lists along with sample coordination
- execute and track inventory movements/purchase orders, identifying lateness & potential sales risk
- liaise with the production and logistics teams, or vendors for licensed product, to ensure timely delivery of merchandise
- ensure all markdowns are properly entered in the system and communicated to relevant teams
- manage overall site maintenance by partnering with e-commerce and photo teams to launch products online, optimize product pages & maximize inventory
- partner with marketing to curate ad-hoc digital assets and monitor inventory
- shop the marketplace to identify product opportunities, pricing strategies, trends, and offerings
- manage all system maintenance and entry for purchase orders and style set up for licensed categories

an outstanding professional will possess...
- 1-2 years of experience in merchandising, buying and/or planning roles required
- previous omni channel experience is a plus
- high level of proficiency in retail math and excel required
- bachelor's degree strongly preferred
