POSTER GIRL is looking for an enthusiastic sales manager with proven experience in designer and/or advance contemporary wholesale to front and manage the brand’s seasonal sales campaigns.


The successful candidate will be responsible for developing POSTER GIRL'S rapid growth , managing the brand to achieve global sales targets, build and nurture client relationships, and ensure optimization of the business in-season.  POSTER GIRL currently does two main seasons a year with intermittent drops mid season including Swim and exclusive capsules.


The applicant should have an in-depth knowledge of the designer/contemporary market, understand the importance of brand positioning, be driven by success and a natural analyst and strategic thinker. Ideally this candidate will have a strong experience in womenswear, and a great understanding of international markets and key players.



Job Description


  • Wholesale account management 
  • Seasonal budget forecasting by region
  • Diary management, market preparation.
  • Update databases and company systems on a regular basis ensuring client information is always accurate
  • Oversee seasonal order process from order taking, to processing, checking, and confirming final orders. Including writing up order confirmations.
  • Identify opportunities to grow with and service key partners through exclusive capsules and/or special projects (highlights, pop ups, installations, events…)
  • Feedback market intelligence to merchandise team through deep dive end of season reporting, competitor analysis, and support with development and updates of seasonal range plan
  • Hold appointments at our in-house showroom
  • Negotiating Trade discounts and exclusive capsules


Essential experience and skills


  • Minimum 4-5 years designer/advance contemporary wholesale experience with a passion for sales and building relationships
  • Experience in Womenswear
  • Experienced in Intl markets, knowledge of Asia is also ideal
  • Proven track record of generating sales and building relationships
  • Developed buyer relationships

  • Multilingual preferred but not essential

Working hours are 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday but you may be required to work outside regular hours in the build up to and during market seasons.


We are looking for a candidate who would be able to start no later than October 2021.
