Primary Purpose:
The Demand Planner is responsible for planning inventory flow, analyzing sales data and ensuring inventory optimization for the Coach Marketplace channel. The role will develop a strategic product demand plan aligned to global strategy as well as monitoring both inbound and outbound shipments to ensure smooth delivery to end customer. The demand planner will play an integral part in delivering sales and margin targets as well as working cross functionally to optimize cross channel inventory opportunities.

- Own and maintain inventory reporting including monthly statistics on sales, inbound production deliveries, stock holding, out of stock prevention and reorder analysis. Ensure optimal inventory levels are held to maximize sales and minimize inventory liability risk.
- Perform root cause analysis of supply/demand issues and provide solutions for the commercial business and escalation to management whenever necessary.
- Maintain and develop seasonal Open To Buy (OTB) for Marketplace channels by using key metrics such as sales, gross margin, inventory turn, and W-O-H targets at dept/class level across each quarter.
- Own the seasonal buy inclusive of forecast maintenance using planning tool (RPAS) both topline financials and SKU level plans
- Partner closely with cross functional teams (finance, sales, buying and account services) to ensure inventory investments are aligned to global strategy and needs are met. Be able to identify risk and put actionable steps in place to mitigate and react according to a fast paced and ever changing environment
- Partner with Customer Service on facilitating Stock Transfer Orders (STO) to ensure smooth outbound delivery to end customer
- Work collaboratively with buying & wholesale demand planner to ensure order taking tool (Nuorder) is set up for market and has adequate supply of best sellers available
- Host monthly meetings with global planning & logistics supply chain team to ensure key seasonal milestone dates are met.
- Identify appropriate inventory levels and manage buffer stock levels at SKU level across marketplaces within the integrator platform.
- Build relationships, interact and collaborate with sales, operations, finance, buying, inventory management, and logistic partners.

- 3+ years' in Demand Planning / Supply Chain role, experience in retail, B2B, franchise or wholesale business models
- Highly Analytical with an eye for detail and ability to translate data into action points
- Analytical skills and ability to translate data into action points
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and perform well under pressure and multiple deadlines
- Experience in planning systems and SAP & Microstrategy a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excel skills (pivots, vlookups, ifs / sumifs)
An outstanding professional will have...
- 5+ years' in Demand Planning / Supply Chain role, experience in retail and specifically Marketplace in the premium to luxury segment
- Highly analytical with an eye for detail and ability to translate data into action points
- Comfortable in presenting and communicating to upper management
- Self-starter and able to work independently and as a team player
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (macro building a plus)
- BA/BS university degree or its equivalent in business, finance, economics, supply chain
