Job Type: Full time, Permanent
Hours of work: Tuesday – Saturday, 8am – 4:30pm
Reporting To: Warehouse & Logistics Manager, Warehouse & Logistics Assistant Manager
Work Environment This position works in a warehouse setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones as well as standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters, step ladders and tape dispensers.
Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing during parts of the day. The employee may frequently lift and/or move items over 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, colour vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Role & Responsibilities:
Working within our Web Dispatch team, working Tuesday through Saturday. By being involved in a team picking, packing and dispatching web orders.
Successfully process dispatch of all web sales coming through the business end to end
Ensure all sales are dispatched to meet cut-offs, deadlines and targets
Ensure orders are packed with immaculate precision to reflect company ideals and packed safely/appropriately where applicable
Ensure all International orders go out with relevant and accurate customs information and all orders are shipped using correct tariffs and be mindful of costings/charges when packing web sales
Process all web returns in a timely manner and ensure everything going through adheres to company regulations. Be sure to log all reasons for returns/missing items
You must have the ability to solve problems with accuracy and speed
You should have experience in WMS and inventory software, this is essential.
You should have experience in a warehouse, primarily in a pick, pack dispatch situation.
You should have experience using warehouse spec scanners.
You should be used to adhering to strict KPIs, this is absolutely essential.
Secondary Role & Responsibilities:
You will at times be required to process web returns
You will at times be required to pick, scan, pack & unpack stock for store replenishment
You will also be expected to assist in other warehouse duties within the warehouse
You will be expected to solve problems which will range from minor to complex, often
Requirements:
Ability to hit daily KPIs.
Efficiency within a warehouse environment.
Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
Be proactive and confident in decision making.
Ability to solve complex problems, often.
Have excellent attention to detail.
Have a good understanding of multiple WMS and inventory systems.
Able to work well within a team.
Microsoft Suite.
