Join our dynamic, international and fast-growing luxury skincare brand, playing a crucial role handling Spas and Hotels in the wholesale channel.

Dr Barbara Sturm is seeking a detail-oriented, process driven, hands-on Wholesale Spa Manager. Responsible for all aspects of sales, training, business development, and execution for this channel.  This role reports to GM UK & Global Commercial Director.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage strong and durable key client relationships with all wholesale Spa partners, inclusive of Top Management
  • Lead training for Spa partners, both existing and new accounts, retail and treatment training
  • Work with GM UK on new opportunities for potential partners, including cost share, counter space, location and new door openings
  • Identify new business opportunities, follow up on all prospect enquiries for Wholesale Spa accounts, and opening new accounts
  • Manage day to day operations for client remit
  • Provide exceptional client service to existing partners
  • Lead sell-in NPD by season to Wholesale Spa clients
  • Work closely with Trade Marketing team to execute agreed joint business plans for clients
  • Track spend and ROI within budget parameters as set on JBP/Trade Marketing Plan 
  • Lead bi-annual strategy/market meetings (and more regular monthly calls with key partners)
  • Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual net sales, basic replenishment needs, new products placement in conjunction with the GM UK
  • Analyse sell through reports for the region to optimize performance and identify key areas of opportunity, including stock holding analysis, treatment sales. Monitor performance versus budget targets and KPIs
  • Work very closely with DBS Operational teams to ensure timely process and shipment of any partner orders
  • Partner with DBS in house Registration team to provide necessary documentation to clients requiring registration information for new launches or new markets
  • Protect DBS brand equity by ensuring Global Visual Guidelines are adhered to all times
  • Organise events in partnership with key Wholesale Spa partners and DBS Trade Marketing team

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Ideally an experienced and Level 4 trained esthetician (or international equivalent)
  • Experienced Account Manager with extensive expertise in commercial leadership roles in premium beauty
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, a ‘Can do’, ‘hands on ‘approach
  • Exceptional relationship and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Existing, strong networking relationships with key Spas and Hotels globally
  • A team player, but must be able to work autonomously
