The Assistant Designer supports the design team to create best-in-class sleepwear, assisting in sketching, fittings, and organization. In this role, you will work closely with the design team and cross-functional teams on wovens, knits, and sweaters for both Lunya and Lahgo brands.  You will support the development of product for each season from concept/research through the final stages of sample development.  

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in research for styling, silhouette, details, and trims  Assist in sketching and creation of detail sketches/Illustrator CADs Assist in tech pack creation Responsible for maintaining/organizing design library (samples, headers, trims, etc…) Take detailed notes during meetings, fittings, and making necessary updates to sketches and linesheets Assist with meeting prep, ad hoc projects, and help the team with requests as they arise Work cross-functionally with Technical Design, Merchandising, and Production teams on follow up of design-specific needs

Who You Are:

Degree in fashion design Minimum 1 year of design experience Passionate about design and product and able to take the initiative A positive and energetic team player with a drive to learn and grow Confident communicator Exceptional follow-through and time management. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.  Adaptable with the ability to manage changing work demands and tasks efficiently, and remain focused Strong illustration skills Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Google Drive; experience with PLM systems is a plus Excited to join and contribute to a brand that is passionate about its mission Please send your resume to jobs@lunya.co so that you can help us change the world –  one bedroom at a time.
