Tiger of Sweden is looking for a Junior Copywriter to create engaging and on-brand copy for a variety of media and to assist our Editor with creative copy writing and social media.

Reporting to the Editor, the Junior Copywriter will help drive the digital vision and strategy in line with the brand objectives. Formulate, plan, develop and implement the social media strategy and content strategy for all our channels ensuring best practices including engaging copy writing, building and engaging communities. The candidate should possess an excellent understanding of the key global platforms and have a flair for creating on brand copy. Knowledge of the fashion industry is a desired advantage.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong passion and strength for copywriting and creative writing and demonstrate an excellent command of both English and German (Swedish a plus). The Junior Copywriter will also work closely with the E-commerce team to translate English copy into German/Swedish and help with SEO and SEM texts.

 

The Junior Copywriters primary duties include but are not limited to:

  • Create product descriptions and other creative copy for upcoming product launches and campaigns
  • Interpret creative direction and technical information to create persuasive copy
  • Create engaging copy for Social Media, Newsletter and Editorial Content
  • Support other departments with proof-reading and creating copy (e.g. Influencer Marketing, HR, SEO, E-commerce, Wholesale, Customer Service)
  • Work closely with the E-commerce team to create SEO and SEM copy as well as translate English copy into German/Swedish
  • Brainstorm new social media campaign ideas
  • Monitor all social media platforms for trending news, ideas and feedback
  • Evaluate competitors and research new trends
  • Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions
  • Support editorial planning and execution
  • Social media scheduling across platforms
  • Assist the Editor in other creative projects and administrative tasks


Requirements

  • Fluent in English and German; (Swedish a plus)
  • Impeccable spelling and grammar in English and German (Swedish is a desired advantage but not a must)
  • An outstanding attention to detail, whether it’s meeting a tight deadline, punctuating your copy, or staying true to our brand’s tone and style
  • Familiarity with Social Media tools and platforms
  • A keen eye for aesthetics
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Passion for creative writing
  • Skill in creating engaging and innovative copy
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to take full ownership of tasks
  • A strong editorial understanding, cultural awareness, and knowledge of general fashion and social media terminology
