Financial Controller

  The JOB

As our business has grown rapidly in both scale and complexity, we are now looking for a Financial Controller to join our Finance team.

We’re really ramping up our growth, and therefore the complexity of the finance operations, so we need someone who can take the reins on statutory and tax compliance matters, system upgrades, and insightful reporting while making sure all finance processes are running smoothly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES....

•Oversee team owning daily accounting operations, including creator payouts and supplier payment runs, reconciliations, ad hoc queries and processes

•Oversee the preparation of timely and insightful management accounts

•Ensure all reporting is compliant with statutory law and financial regulations, for both the UK and US entities

•Manage tax compliance activities for the Group, ensuring compliance worldwide and timely filings of returns, including UK VAT, OSS, IOSS, US returns etc

•Manage the audit process from next year and liaise with external advisors as required

•Manage and develop a growing finance team

THE ESSENTIALS.....

•Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

•At least 4 years post-qualified experience, with previous experience managing and developing a team

•Strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive financial discipline across the business

•Experience upgrading to an ERP accounting system would be beneficial, but not essential
