Planning & Allocation Manager

Job Overview

Minimum of 2 Years of Experience Required. Responsible for providing data analysis, budget forecasting and open-to-buy projections to the buying team. The position requires strong financial acumen, expert Excel skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Role & Responsibilities

Compile weekly selling reports from CMS systems for buying team and vendors Analyze selling weekly and perform inter-store transfers Provide the e-commerce team with weekly recaps on product analysis and updates on new arrivals Liaise with operational team to manage logistics of merchandise, reconciliation of receipts Manage vendor communication in a timely manner Maintain vendor database, contact list, and related department records Analyze Private Label pricing model, monitor sell-throughs and margin performance During market: aggregate merchandise financial budgets, seasonal strategy, store, and E-Comm minimums, sizing analysis, and chase opportunity Post-market: confirm all order confirmations post-market, finalize all buy books and post-market trend analysis, hindsight’s and market prep for next Admin support (in times without an intern)

Required Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of planning and allocation experience required Advanced financial analysis and Excel skills E-Comm and Retail experience required Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel Previous experience in the merchandising or retail industry is a plus Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong analytical and organizational skills Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
