Job Details

The ideal candidate for the position of personal assistant to Jan Taminiau, is someone who is proactive, highly organised, with a lot of enthusiasm, who thrives by working in a high paced rhythm. The main goal of your tasks is to make sure Jan has creative freedom. 

Jan Taminiau is a philosopher of couture, a creator who thinks about every detail and layers of the creations but also about the experience surrounding it. He has the desire to be curious and loves to do experiments with a heart for the past and an eye for the future. It is an honor to work closely with Jan Taminiau and to assist him with the below tasks so you can assure he has more creative freedom. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Keeping track of the agenda – planning both external and Internal appointments 
  • Managing the to do’s of the Creative Director and Errand running 
  • Note what the team is doing and needs to finish + keeping these deadlines for Jan. This is so the meetings get more effective, the team will getting things done and Jan has more creative freedom. 
  • Format information for internal and external communication - memos, emails, presentations, reports 
  • Keeping track of the Creative Director E-mails, filtering important communication and prioritizing actions accordingly before communicating with the team 
  • Managing the Creative Directors calendar, expenses and travel requirements including flight tickets and taxi’s 
  • Managing the Creative Directors invoices and doing payments 
  • Project management from helicopter point of view, tracking the projects progress through the different stages until its finished
  • Online research and purchases when required  
  • Assistance with suppliers - landlords / household bills etc 
  • Assist with preparation for on-site meetings, to include, room set-up, catering, prepping digital and hardcopies of meeting materials, testing technical set up prior to meetings 
  • Attend meetings for the purpose of taking meeting minutes and follow up on key take-aways from the meetings 
  • Complete reports and documentation for Executive's as well as assist members of the executive teams with meeting and travel arrangements

  • Highly presentable and persuasive

Requirements: 

  • Very advanced level of English or Dutch. An advanced level of spoken and written Spanish is also necessary for the role.
  • Degree level or similar
  • MS office skills and experience on Teams is a plus
  • Attention to detail and highly organized
  • Excellent communication skills and good team player
  • Organised, efficient and schedule focused
