 Ten Thousand is looking for an analytical Lifecycle Marketing Associate to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate is a left- and right-brain thinker and driven lifecycle marketer who will help drive efforts to optimize the customer journey and drive strong retention KPIs across our rapidly-growing customer base. Working closely with our VP, Marketing and Chief of Staff, you will be responsible for optimizing the strategy behind Ten Thousand’s high-impact multi-channel lifecycle marketing programs, help scale our loyalty program, and ideate, identify, and help execute on new lifecycle marketing initiatives and A/B testing opportunities. With this role, you’ll be joining a very fast growing company at an early stage and will have the chance to learn about all facets of the business.   • Work cross-functionally to support the end-to-end process of bringing lifecycle initiatives from concept to launch, including consistent optimization of channel and platform retention strategy
  • Develop and optimize triggered email and SMS drip flows to engage and re-engage our customers 
  • Design, implement and analyze A/B split tests across core owned channels
  • Report weekly and monthly on performance of live flows and identify areas for optimization across email and SMS, using findings to deliver insights and shape future lifecycle campaigns
  • Work with our VP of Marketing and Chief of Staff to outline and prioritize target customer cohorts for intervention during the customer lifecycle
  • Oversee the day-to-day management and continued optimization of our loyalty program, working cross-functionally to ensure offers, benefits, and experiences are delivered to our most valuable customers
  • Help execute on miscellaneous lifecycle marketing initiatives, including but not limited to VIP customer identification and outreach
  • Serve as point of contact with our CRM and ESP platforms (Klaviyo, Attentive) to resolve issues and continue improving existing programs 
  • Assist with lifecycle marketing reporting and analysis, including tracking cohort retention, owned channel metrics, and early indicators of high value customers


  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in lifecycle marketing for an eCommerce business (Shopify experience a plus)
  • Working knowledge of ESPs (Klaviyo a plus) or willingness to learn
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Analytics
  • A highly organized “doer” who will take initiative and execute
  • Just as comfortable translating data into actionable insights as you are getting involved in the creative process
  • Familiarity with HTML and editing templates
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and spoken communication, as well as copywriting skills
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Have a demonstrated ability to learn new topics and disciplines quickly
  • Have a GSD mentality
