Job Summary

Licensing Assistant: assist overall Licensing department, support partnerships, cross functional teams, and commercial and product development across Eyewear, Watches, and Beauty. Interface with licensees and brand as needed across sales, DTC, Master Data team, marketing, merchandising, and design.

Primary Job Functions

Sales and Business Analysis
  • Collect weekly/monthly sales data and best sellers, cross reference for accuracy, and compile reports.
  • Review and compare distribution files to previous years, highlight changes, and track door approvals
  • Recap post market buys
  • Assistance with research and compilation of meeting presentations. Industry/category research and brand comparisons
  • Audit of licensed categories within partner digital and retail locations

Master Data Assistance
  • Manage Master Data process in PDM/PLM systems, entering and updating product attributes to maintain system and reporting accuracy.
  • Create master data setup forms to aide in the style setup process

Cross Functional Support
  • Day-to-day collaboration with Licensees, and across multiple internal and external cross-functional teams to ensure execution of projects and initiatives. Documentation of project status and follow up of next steps
  • Support cross functional teams with product knowledge to answer product related questions.
  • Supporting with creative services briefs and follow ups

Licensing Sample Management
  • Inventory all Licensing Samples (current and historic) as well as seasonal development
  • Manage loans to and from internal and external teams. Detailed management of samples and proactive follow up
  • Work with Tory Burch Sample team to tag and track Licensing samples, and archive historic samples

General Clerical and Administrative
  • Assist in meeting scheduling, meeting setup and breakdown, prepare materials, take notes and document next steps
  • Organize files on digital server, and maintain department organization
  • Ship and messenger materials to partners and maintain contact lists
  • Other projects as needed

Education/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Requisite Experience
  • 1-2 years of industry experience
  • Licensing/Merchandising/Product Development experience
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter - strong sense of urgency and initiative
  • Ability to multitask in fast environment
  • Strong Excel, Power Point, Word skills
  • Business and sales analytical skills
  • Creative, with an eye for trend and innovation
