Web Production Assistant

The eCommerce team at elysewalker is looking for a skilled Web Production Assistant to join the team and contribute to the development of elysewalker.com. This role will be focused primarily on Website Production, which includes product catalog set up, content publishing, QA and ensuring on-going site readiness.

The ideal candidate will be flexible and detail-oriented in a fast-paced retail environment.  This position is based out in Los Angeles, reporting into the eCommerce Operations Manager.  

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Responsible for site content refreshes, including new product launches and marketing campaigns utilizing the Shopify platform
  • Responsible for detailed updates to the product catalog (title, description, images, product specs, SEO attributes, etc.) to ensure high-quality product pages are published accurately in alignment with the product launch schedule (i.e., bi-weekly)
  • Continuously QA site content and make updates. Demonstrate sound judgement in escalating site issues to the eCommerce Operations Manager
  • Work with the Digital Design team to ensure on-time delivery of site assets to align the site publishing schedule with the Master Marketing calendar
  • Assist with site content creative briefs, discuss objectives with the Digital Design team and monitor progress to ensure assets are received as expected
  • Ensure products are merchandised to meet the business requirements and optimize site engagement and conversion
  • Continually improve content process and opportunities - establishing best practices to drive a streamlined process while working in partnership with cross-functional teams (Buying, Studio, Digital Design, Copywriting)
  • Respond to internal requests for listing changes and updates
  • Consolidate metrics and provide ongoing reports to communicate content performance

Required Skills

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in the digital and eCommerce space
  • Hands-on experience in a CMS (Shopify a plus)
  • Experience in luxury fashion a plus
  • Detail-oriented and a passion for improving site performance and growth
  • Organized, strong project management skills with proven track record of delivering high quality work under tight timelines
  • Open attitude and comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
