This is a FT maternity cover (11 months) which will report into the Merchandiser in the department. The role is responsible for ensuring that the merchandising plans are aligned across the business and key customers are continuously being analyzed to support growth.  

RESPONSIBLITIES

Pre-season planning (HL/TH)

  • Align product plan and package offerings for the season with company strategy
  • Support in establishing overall projection plan for all channels
  • Track daily sales/customers and highlight key styles that need to be pushed
  • Managing and liaising final orderbook projections with US
  • Support key customers and sales with merchandising plan in market
  • Managing any in season cancellations and proposing alternative options to maintain healthy orderbook level

Reporting and Analysis (HL/TH)

  • Compiling WSSI report for key accounts and flagging to sales team any missed opportunities
  • Compiling top line sales data for all wholesale clients
  • Running historical analysis on sell-in and sell-out and supporting Planning Manager at proto review stages

Budgeting (HL/TH)

  • Supporting with overall yearly fiscal budget planning
  • Analyzing and reporting on historical budgeting trends for all channels
  • Managing the integration of the budget and any amendments into Adaptive
  • Running historical analysis on sell-in and sell-out and supporting Planning Manager at proto review stages

Required

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in merchandising/planning
  • Fashion background desirable
  • Experience and knowledge of trading in both UK & EU retail markets
  • Experience with analytical platforms and interpreting data
  • Excellent with excel skills 
  • Proactively manage and resolve any operational issues.
