We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the Design and Development team at CRAIG GREEN. The successful candidate should be self-motivated, organised and looking to develop their skills within a dynamic and fast-paced creative environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for garments from initial concept right through to creation to production handover
  • Assisting with the delivery of prototypes and samples on time, to the quality standard, and within cost price range, to achieve target margin
  • Building and maintaining a close working partnership with Design. Acting as the technical partner, attending fittings, providing feedback on technical feasibility, to ensure the design vision is translated into product
  • Responsible for building and maintaining effective working relationships with factories, developing a strong working knowledge of factory capability and availability to meet demands
  • Ensuring deadlines are adhered to and follow up on all prototype/sample issues to resolve and drive to completion
  • Launching product to suppliers, becoming the main point of contact for all development communication
  • Organising all CMT trim and material orders for sampling
  • Update development and budget trackers and make available for weekly meetings in order to ensure calendar dates and timelines are being adhered to
  • Supporting on special projects, made in house, capsules and collaborations as required 
  • Partaking in ongoing risk assessment during the development process and proactivity in taking actions as a result
  • Collaborating with the Garment technologist while developing the collections for product testing
  • Support production follow-ups at factories, technical requirements of all proto and samples in preparation for production
  • Accountable for ensuring Zedonk is kept updated with 100% accuracy at all times
  • Travel to factories, suppliers and trade shows as necessary to execute and follow through on brand strategies

Qualifications: 

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Good CAD skills
  • Thorough knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Zedonk
  • Good technical knowledge of wovens and knitwear
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task 
  • Ability to work well in a team setting as well as independently
