We are looking for a Director of Paid Acquisition to drive media strategies and tactics across paid marketing channels, including Facebook and Google. The ideal candidate has a passion in equal parts for data and analytics and the world of advertising, marketing, media, and retail.

The Director of Paid Acquisition will be responsible for the design and execution of high volume direct response performance advertising campaigns with a focus on online channels. You will manage external agencies and an in-house team.

This individual is strategic, analytical and detail oriented and will set-up, execute, and optimize campaigns while reporting on what works, what doesn’t, and why. The Performance Marketing Manager will also be responsible for creating relevant ads and guiding visitors to appropriate landing pages with a goal of maximizing ROI.

As a Director of Paid Acquisition you’ll manage daily advertising needs for Dolls Kill, including planning, ad trafficking, budget pacing, optimization and reporting.

What You'll Do

    • Serve as a member of a cross-functional team to translate goals into a direct response media strategy
    • Responsible for campaign setup, trafficking, ongoing optimization, and reporting that meets and exceeds goals.
    • Monitor spend documents on a daily basis to come in on budget and hit goals.
    • Stay up to date on new ad products, best practices, and technology advancements
    • Use real-time data, testing, and campaign learnings to effectively optimize and manage campaigns. Collect insights to share back with internal stakeholders.
    • Produce clear communication for internal teams regarding campaign performance, recommendations and expected deliverables.
    • Thrive in a fast paced startup environment where you are comfortable with organized chaos.


Requirements

    • 5-7 years of direct self-service experience working for an advertiser, agency, ad tech or social media platform
    • Knowledge of Adwords, Facebook Power Editor, and Google Analytics. Experience working with Looker is a plus.
    • Superior collaboration and teamwork skills; experience working with cross-functional teams
    • Project management experience and adaptability: Ability to re-prioritize while operating within a fast paced environment, while continuously maintaining attention to detail, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effectively communicate with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization, vendors and team members.
    • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office software (Excel, Powerpoint) and/or Google for Work products (Google Analytics, Sheets, Slides) and data analysis tools (MySQL)Positive attitude and hunger for learning and getting your hands dirty.
    • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA a plus
