About the Role

The Sample Coordinator role is an exciting and challenging opportunity to learn about the Dolls Kill production machine from the ground up. In this role, you’ll be responsible for facilitating the procurement, preparation, and flow of merchandise samples from pre-production to post-production. Along the way, you will be exposed to all aspects of our sample management process including tracking samples from vendors to the outbound processes supporting our social media teams and fulfillment center. You’ll also gain cross-functional experience in a critical behind-the-scenes role with a progressive fashion brand! This is a fantastic opportunity for a career-orientated individual with the right skills to get their foot in the door and grow with Dolls Kill!

This is a full time, onsite, hourly position in Los Angeles

Responsibilities

• Route samples pre-production stage, working with external business partners to ensure successful fast-track to production as needed
• Check-in, inspect, and label multiple brands’ samples using the Sample Department database
• Fulfill sample requests quickly and accurately, confirming with key stakeholders as needed
• Simultaneously track samples for multiple brands, multiple shoots and ensure sample-related milestones are met on time; prioritize work accordingly
• Report on daily KPI’s
• Cross-team communication

Requirements

• Must have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience as a manager or assistant manager in a retail environment preferred
• Previous experience in operations preferred
• Detail-oriented; capable of following the organized processes consistently
• Knowledge of the Dolls Kill brand and passionate about fashion
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Proactive and quick learner with a positive attitude towards their work
• Proficiency in PC and Mac OS platforms, G-Suite, Microsoft Word/Excel
• Flexible team-player who also works well independently

Nice to Have

• Experience using RetailOps
• Knowledge of inventory control and implementing processes
