About The Role

This is a rare opportunity to let your creativity fly and design totally unique, inspired product for several in-house brands representing goth, punk, kawaii, club, streetwear and retro 90s aesthetics. You will be part of a super creative, talented team of footwear and handbag designers based at our San Francisco Bay Area HQ.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for out of the box thinking combined with knowledge of real world applications and be able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The Bags & Accessories Designer is a full-time position reporting to the Non-Apparel Design Director. Candidate must be based in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Apparel Design team to create novelty & trend based bags & accessories that are reflective of the Dolls Kill aesthetic.
• Own design process from initial inspiration to final sample.
• Is fully responsible for market trend research, inspiration, hand sketching, Illustrator CADs, techpacks/specifications, and ensuring that product is designed to meet target customer needs while adhering to development timelines

Requirements

• Understanding of our unique aesthetic and lifestyle
• Degree in Fashion/Product Design, Product Development or related field
• 3-5 years relevant industry experience designing and developing handbags/accessories
• Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Illustrator as well as hand sketching
• Strong understanding of full cycle design process, from concept to commercialization
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
