About The Role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Home Goods Product Developer to join our team in developing original products including but not limited to home decor, home textiles, tableware, household items, stationary, novelty products and gifts. In this role you’ll be working closely with designers to develop their original product concepts through factory communication, sourcing and sampling. You will communicate daily with factories to get all new products underway, negotiating costs/minimums/timelines, ensuring vendors can achieve our execution aesthetic and quality standards. You will manage and own our work in progress charts, keeping all information neatly up to date, following all development from style adoption to final TOP approval. Additionally, you will assist with packaging/graphics as it pertains to our Home Goods category. This role requires an extremely organized, experienced and motivated candidate who works well under pressure and is excited to be a driving force in one of our newer product categories.

Skills Required

    • 5-7 years product development experience specific to Home Goods
    • Home Goods specific knowledge including materials, construction techniques, etc.
    • Graphic and packaging experience required
    • Techpack experience required
    • Ability to manage and own large amount of data
    • Experience with heavy factory communication
    • Experience in costing/negotiating cost and MOQ
    • Positive, strategic problem solver
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills
    • Deadline driven, thrives in a fast paced work environment
    • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Excel required.
