Company

Los Angeles native Ashley Merrill founded Lunya in 2014.  The brand has been on a mission to rejuvenate a sleepy world ever since with its considered restwear.  Everything Lunya makes is designed to tangibly improve rest, with products as functional as they are beautiful.  Originally famous as the pioneer of washable silk, Lunya has since expanded its portfolio to other innovative, signature fabrics like its Cottonsilk blend and Cooldown Pima (proven to keep you cooler while sleeping). Sleepwear with patented no-twist waistbands, strategic ventilation, stay-put sleeves, state-of-the-art fabrics, washable silk bedding— these are just some of the rest-centric innovations that are at the foundation of the brand. Lunya maintains a painstaking attention to detail, quality, and construction because we see our pieces as the anti “old T-shirt” – we are the uniform for those who share our belief that resting is the most important time of the day. Lahgo, our menswear line, ensures that men are also invited to the ritual of rest. Though founded as an online DTC brand, Lunya also has a significant brick-and-mortar footprint with stores designed as “Bedrooms,” bespoke and personal spaces modeled after the most intimate rooms in our homes.
