Amyris is seeking dynamic and passionate Specialty Accounts Manager to manage our independent retail accounts and provide great customer service. As part of a growing team, we are looking for a highly organized, self- starter and business-minded individuals with a passionate and collaborative spirit.

The Specialty Accounts Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets and agreed profitability in all existing independent accounts as well as all scout and open new sales doors. This position will feature a base salary + bonus commission structure.

They will be responsible for achieving comp sales goes in existing accounts as well as achieving our new door objective goals. They will drive all aspects of managing our independent accounts and drive sales for direct communication, education and driving sales campaigns to reach quarterly goals.

The ideal candidate is a true collaborator at heart and has a real love and appreciation for clean beauty, sustainability and customer service.


    • Source, court and acquire quality new boutiques/ independent accounts for Costa Brazil
    • Effectively onboard new retailers
    • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities
    • Work closely with VP of Brand Development & Sales to establish sales forecast by account to ensure overall sales goals are achieved
    • Analyzes data and develops sales promotions, plans, and marketing strategies to meet and exceed established forecasts
    • Develop sales packages by account
    • Maintain Boutique database
    • Develop monthly and quarterly newsletters to accounts to feature Costa Brazil brand updates, new product information and key press hits
    • Analyze sales data and develop sales promotions, plans, and marketing strategies to exceed established forecasts
    • Follow up with all POs, ensure orders are processed and communicate delivery to accounts
    • Field all corporate sales inquiries and manage them accordingly
    • Convert inbound and outbound inquires into sales and add on opportunities
    • Ensures all accounts have creative assets, training materials and all elements needed for a successful account set up
    • Ensure all retail accounts are trained on products and organize events that can be executed by Costa Brazil Brand Ambassadors

Required Qualifications:

    • Minimum 5-10 years of relevant sales
    • Highly motivated with the ability to thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced and demanding environment, passionate about cosmetics
    • Have a customer service mindset
    • Excellent planning, time management, and organization skills
    • Ability to translate solutions back to internal and external customer(s) as well as management
    • Must be a strong collaborator who can work effectively with key internal and external partners
    • Great analytical and communication skills
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills
    • Exemplary oral and written communication skills
    • Strong computer skills - Excel, Word, Powerpoint

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with NetSuite and / or Shopify a plus
    • Experience with NetSuite and / or Sales Force a plus
