JOB SUMMARY

JOB DESCRIPTION

This Project Manager, Decorative & Design is responsible for developing new store design concepts globally for all full price, off price and shop-in-ship locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Must have knowledge of residential fabrics, wall covering and materials. This role will help select and procure decorative items and translate them to a retail environment
  • Develop new store design layouts/space planning involved with renovation or new build boutiques. Maintain design consistency and brand image for the store environment
  • Participate in the collaborative design of new fixtures and store models
  • Work collaboratively in a team atmosphere with other departments (including and not limited to Visual Merchandising, Store Operations, IT, Licensing, etc).
  • Keep updated on current Tory Burch Brand design concept and details
  • Assist the Project Management Team to monitor projects for quality and costs
  • Maintain global fixture book
  • Some travel will be required.
  • Resolve all design related comments from Landlord review to ensure compliance with Tory Burch brand identity

Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • Decorative background required.
  • Interior Design or architecture degree with time spent in a traditional design firm is strongly preferred.
  • 6 +/- 5 years of retail experience preferred.
  • High-end retail experience preferred. High-end residential design a plus.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Word/Excel.
  • 3D Modeling would be a plus but not required
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently and efficiently. Detail oriented. Proactive and highly organized.
