Are you obsessed with customers? Do you love building inspiring and intuitive shopping experiences and designing website and app features from scratch? We're looking for a UX Designer to help us build an inspiring, intuitive, addicting, “spend half my life on your site” shopping experience for our customers that drives industry-leading sales growth for our business.

As a UX Designer at Dolls Kill, you will be partnering with the Product and Engineering teams to identify and execute on ways to continually improve on the customer experience. You will partner with Creative and Site Merchandising on developing editorial digital experiences, There are endless opportunities to ideate & execute, and influence design decisions at all levels in the company.     • Understand the Dolls Kill voice, maintain brand look and feel, and develop interaction & designs standards for a consistent experience across all customer touch points
    • Design seamless shopping experiences & execute across all experience including mobile, native apps, web site, international expansion, and internal products.
    • Develop and maintain high fidelity mocks, wireframes, prototypes help bring to life concepts and features
    • Manage visual hierarchy, layouts, typography, and color effectively, establishing style guidelines that other teams, third party partners, and consultants can use as we build content and features
    • Translate functionality of designs and wireframes into deliverables for the engineering team, partnering with Product Management on overall UX strategy to develop rich epics and stories
    • Recommend & develop research activities to deepen the understanding of customer needs in order to make strategic, informed design recommendations
    • Collaborate with stakeholders (Including Product Management, Engineering, Creative, Marketing,) on vision and strategy to ensure interaction experience is on brand, meets stakeholder needs and business goals.


    • 3+ years professional UX design experience delivering digital products
    • Skilled in Visual Design, Prototyping, and Interaction Design
    • Expert in Figma, Sketch, Invision, or other design and prototyping tools
    • Experience Designing Retail and Ecommerce focused solutions a plus
    • Comfortable with startup environments, ability/desire to go beyond your role (owner-mentality)
    • Experience working in an agile delivery environment
    • Exceptional cross-functional communication and collaboration skills. You must be comfortable and confident leading discussions at all levels
    • Demonstrated history of taking initiative, and getting things done at the appropriate level of polish against tight timelines
    • Bonus: Experience writing HTML, CSS and JavaScript. No coding experience is necessary in this role
