Join us in building one of the most impactful products in Zalando. The Zalando Direct business unit in Zalando, responsible for building Zalando's Marketplace, is developing a B2B platform called zDirect, an ecosystem of apps and services to help brand and retail partners self-serve and get started on Zalando, manage their business and steer growth.

As the Principal Product Manager for Marketplace Data products in Zalando Direct, you will own the data vision and strategy and build the data foundation roadmap as well as a data governance system. The partner-facing zDirect application will depend on these data capabilities to help our partners derive actionable insights on growing their business in the multi-branded environment of Zalando's Marketplace. Internal business teams will build on the Data Foundation products to inform and execute their Marketplace steering strategies. You will work closely with the Engineering Manager for Marketplace Data and with a team of Product Managers, Business Analysts, Data Scientists and Engineers to set up and achieve your product vision.
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
  • Determine and drive the product vision for the Zalando Marketplace Data suite of products, which connects any fashion brand with Zalando customers anytime anywhere
  • Develop and guide a team of product managers and work closely with the Engineering Manager, researchers and designers to achieve your roadmap
  • Define KPIs for your area, understand how they impact our partner experience and business performance long-term and monitor success over time
  • Evolve Governance Mechanisms to ensure Data Compliance, Security and Consistency across internal and partner-facing data utilization scenarios
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • A data-driven and collaborative Product Management practitioner with experience in data strategy and data governance with exposure to data infrastructure, data science or machine learning
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams, align goals and deliverables and drive overall success independent of organizational boundaries
  • You know how to measure the success of your product and continuously iterate to improve it for the benefit of our partner
  • Experience building, nurturing and growing inclusive team environments
