JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for managing and organizing the Financial Planning and Analysis function within EMEA Region. In charge of the EMEA Region's performance reporting and in charge of supporting the EMEIA Finance CFO and EMEIA Director of Finance with relevant analysis to enable critical decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

FP&A:
  • Supporting the CFO and Finance Director in the consolidation and presentation of month end deliverables, month end regional reporting, weekly revenue analysis with trends, understanding of EMEIA results vs Budget, Forecast, Prior Year with liaison with the wider EMEIA Finance team.
  • Responsible for the preparation of Monthly Business Review Pack ( MFR) and production and maintenance of relevant supporting models.
  • Coordination and supporting Regional Budget and Forecasting process / leading planning cycles
  • Preparation of Regional Board decks, including P&L updates, revenue comp disclosures, relevant revenue analysis and customer insights data.
  • Responsible for EMEIA impairment process in the region by reviewing revenue growth rates and capex input assumptions.
  • Review Impairment P&L model for Group Finance submission, highlighting risks on potential impairment charges
  • Prepare EMEIA impairment charges summaries for group finance and senior management for discussion.


Capex:
  • Responsible for EMEIA Capex actuals consolidation and preparation of Capex Forecast to Group Finance, including Capex strategic planning investment (3YP)
  • Responsible for identification of issues on capex actualization and highlight those issues to construction team and BBS ( Burberry Business Services)
  • Work directly with construction team in understanding capex cash spend to improve Capex Forecast


Reporting:
  • Overseeing weekly and monthly consolidation of sales reporting to SLT. Highlighting key trends in performance and identification of R&O for full year forecast.
  • Responsible for EMEIA rolling forecast submission to group finance. Develop the rolling forecast independently and showing understanding of the underlying business
  • Responsible for consolidation regional investment documents, reviewing and challenging assumptions while linking with the EMEIA sub-regions
  • Responsible for preparing and submitting Group templates as part of Budget, Forecast submissions, Half Year and Year end closing. Develops direct communication and represents the region for any group finance queries.


Other:

• Contribute to drive profitability initiatives in the region.
• Deep understanding of key financial drivers across business to support scenario analysis and forecasting
• Drive continuous process improvements, promote best in class reporting, meaningful analysis and business insight
• Coach and motivate to drive high performance to a team of 2 analysts. Leadership experience: has two years' experience leading team members balancing execution through others with inclusiveness, leveraging expertise, clear thinking, imagination, and customer focus.
• Work closely and collaboratively with cross-functional project groups to understand and manage each project's impact on finance processes and people
• Provide insightful and relevant reporting to be shared with the Director or Finance, CFO and Senior Leadership Team
