In this role you will be responsible for providing HR support across our Digital and Tech teams that results in an engaged workforce and a more productive business. You will be responsible for supporting people strategies, responding to day-to-day HR activities for the clients, executing talent management efforts and partnering with key Gap Inc. HR solution centers (Talent Management, Employee Relations, Recruiting, Total Rewards, etc.) to deliver results against the people strategies.

What you'll do

  • Support the HR team and leaders across the Digital and Tech functions on various talent workstreams and people and organizational issues, demonstrating resourcefulness to achieve desired outcomes
  • Communicate directly with leaders on talent inquiries
  • Participate in projects and assignments of diverse scope within People and Culture and working directly with business leaders
  • Partner with the Digital and Tech HR team, the broader People and Culture Team, and business leaders to implement talent strategies
  • Serve as the workstream lead across Digital and Tech in the below areas:
    • Immigration administration including working with multiple internal stakeholders including HR, Talent Acquisition, Immigration & Mobility, outside counsel, mobility vendors, and hiring managers
    • Exit Administration
    • Benefits/Policy Questions
    • Employment Information
    • HRMS SME / Data Management / Reporting and Dashboards
    • Miscellaneous project support and management as needed including Talent Development, Compensation, Performance Management, etc.
  • Analyze HR metrics to identify business opportunities and work with the HR team to implement solutions
  • Execute talent management and succession planning activities within the business

Who you are

  • Professional Human Resources generalist or specialist experience who can demonstrate a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • General knowledge of HR practices including benefits, compensation, employment law, employee/labor relations, talent management and learning and development; working knowledge of current immigration laws and processes
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, listening skills, and problem solver
  • Excellent prioritization, organization and follow through skills with high learning agility and desire to take on responsibility and grow
  • Quickly establishes credibility with strong interpersonal skills & HR knowledge.
  • Strong customer service mentality; can be trusted to maintain confidentiality; positive and possesses a "can-do" attitude
  • Demonstrate the ability to use judgment in assessing situations and determining the appropriate actions
