We are on the lookout for the newest member of our team: the Ecommerce Assistant. This is an exciting role where you will take the reigns of creating and managing content on the website while monitoring the website's performance overall. Shaku is an emerging brand with a strong startup mentality; you will have a lot of responsibility and great scope for initiative. We are looking for a great writer and willing learner who is up for engaging with a variety of tasks while also handling their regular tasks. 

Prepare and setup products on the website: optimise graphics and write effective SEO product descriptions
Perform regular checks on whether product pages are doing well, optimising where needed
Prepare products and oversee ecommerce photography: booking the shoots, preparing the samples to send out, courier management
Manage orders and ensure excellent customer service levels are maintained
Process orders on our in-house ERP system
Prepare products for sales in-store and online
Prepare courier shipments using online platforms or in person
Monitor and create Justuno campaigns to see how well the pop-up strategy is working
Conversion rate optimisation: use tools like Hot Jar and Google Analytics to track which pages are doing well and how to improve the user experience on the website
SEO marketing: optimise SEO keywords on product and collection pages, write SEO blogs to help boost organic search traffic to the website

Create and implement a content strategy for the website and emails that works with the social media and PR strategies
Create graphics for any pages/blogs/homepage banners as needed that are in keeping with the brand identity
Oversee and write content for the blog: liaising with the Designer and researching topics to help extoll the Shaku story
Be willing and ready to create written content as and when needed

Email Marketing
As part of the Digital Content Strategy, plan and execute email marketing
Use Klaviyo to create emails: produce graphics and write copy
Monitor the performance of active email flows and optimise where necessary

Bachelor's degree in fashion, business or a similar field
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal, numerical and analytical skills
Excellent writing skills – a sample of your written work will be requested
Acute attention to detail
Proficient knowledge of Excel and Outlook
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work accordingly

Proficient in Shopify
Working knowledge of Microsoft dynamics or a similar programme advantageous
Knowledge of Google Suite – Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager.

Job Details
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm 
Friday is an optional work from home day, while the pandemic continues
Holiday: 25 days excluding bank holidays
