JOB PURPOSE

We are recruiting for a talented individual to join our Showroom team as a Showroom Assistant on a temporary basis (from 13th September 2021 to 10th December 2021). The role will be full time, 40 hours per week, working shifts from 08:00 - 22:00 Monday - Sunday, and with two days off per week. You will be required to be available to work weekends and public holidays, and hold a valid work visa if required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work under the guidance of the Showroom Management Team to ensure that the highest service and operational standard s are reflected at all times
  • Support the wholesale team during Market appointments
  • Be a Burberry Brand Ambassador by wearing the provided Burberry uniform in line with the Burberry Grooming Guidelines
  • Exceed expectations in delivering a warm and genuine welcome to our internal and external clients
  • Support in maintaining the Visual Merchandising standards of the Showroom at all times
  • Having a hands-on approach : tidying displays, neatly folding, carrying samples
  • Assist the sampling team to receive, unpack and log in all seasonal deliveries and tidy them on the Showroom floor
  • Assist in packing and sending the collections to other Showrooms/Departments
  • Complete a daily checklist to ensure the high standards of Showroom are followed
  • Assist in the set up and breakdown of the Showroom prior to and post market

    • Proven trackrecord of working in similar Showroom roles in a luxury environment
    • Flexible approach to working
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Calm and professional manner, acting as Brand Ambassador
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Strong organisational and working to tig ht dead lines
    • Pro-active and results d riven approach
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work in a large and multicultural team
    • Experience of working under pressure in a fast paced environment
    • Strong customer service experience
