Primary Purpose: The Director will ideate, concept and create strategic customer-first, digital campaigns to build the brand identity and drive brand awareness and new customer acquisition for Coach globally. Key initiatives for this person will include seasonal campaigns for both Retail and Outlet channels, product collaborations and experiential key message activations across digital and physical customer touchpoints. This person will report into and partner closely with the DVP Creative Studio, and will partner closely with Copy & Editorial, Brand Creative Team, 3D Digital Experiential, Social Media, Marketing and the Design Studio to ideate and shoot campaigns.

- Build a powerful, unique and cohesive brand identity through campaigns and creative that are distributed across multiple markets and consumer touchpoints.
- Concept key campaigns that will build the brand values and identity globally by considering the nuances in our position across all markets (Greater China, Japan, North America, Europe).
- Leverage customer data and consumer insights to inform creative approach.
- Leverage the Coach values and brand DNA to embed storytelling for key product launches.
- Leverage cultural and market insights to inform concept and ideation.
- Conduct ongoing and in-depth image research from past through present, with keen eye for evolving fashion and cultural trends.
- Direct photo shoots and lead casting, stylists and photographers.
- Explore proof of concepts for digital with creative team.
- Create inspiring and effective 'hand-off' direction so broader team can execute concepts across multiple channels and territories.

The accomplished individual will possess...
- BFA / BA in Art Direction, Graphic Design, Fine Art or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of photographers and videographers.
- Extensive knowledge of culture including music, art, fashion and film. An appreciation of pop culture - can flex between high and low brow references.
- Must have vast knowledge in digital content creation.
- Exceptional Concept Art direction skills for stills and motion.
- Experience working for a retail/fashion brand or ad agency.
- Drawing/illustration and film experience skills.

- In depth knowledge of new and old/archival fashion campaigns.
- A proven instinct for spotting and discovering up-and-coming content creators.

- A strong and instinctive 'eye', with expert design and typography skills.
- Experience with photography direction and styling.
