We are looking for a charismatic leader to lead and steer our ICT Support Desk, based at our beautiful Head Office in Hoofddorp starting from mid/end October for a period of 5 months. In this fulltime role you will be working at least 3 days a week from our office (preferably fulltime) and you will have the fantastic opportunity in helping define, create, building, optimizing and managing the future structure, process, take initiatives, and being team responsible for ICT Support at Scotch & Soda at a global level, encompassing our Retail stores and office locations in Europe and North America. You will be responsible for a number of direct reports as well as have accountability in managing an extended virtual, and be working closely with multiple project teams and business partners, onboarding and improving their support needs.

The position:

  • Guides and directs a number of ICT support engineers, assisting them in issue prioritization as well as advising on technical direction for issue resolution
  • Manages issue escalation on behalf of clients
  • Helps define and monitor Service Level Agreements, to be established with the various internal business partners and departments.
  • Continuously strives to improve processes and solutions within the ICT Support Desk to drive efficiencies and reduction in time to issue resolution
  • Resolves daily issues and / or malfunctions related to hardware and software
  • Answers questions queries regarding applications and hardware
  • Responsible for the timely update for a number of software solutions
  • Establishing best practises when it comes to support and improve the organization standards
  • Coaches and leads the team by example, and helps them to take ownership of their responsibilities


Job requirements:

  • You are a team player, with a proven track record of (assisting in) managing and evolving an ICT Support desk Team
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the Fashion and / or Retail Industry
  • You are hands on and not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into detail
  • You are results oriented, with a strong desire to satisfy your customers' needs
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise work in a dynamic, fast paced and entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken. Knowledge of the Dutch language is an additional advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 solutions
  • Knowledge of Mac OS X and Microsoft Operating Systems
  • Flexibility! We operate in different time zones and therefore an availability shift is being rotated in the team
  • Currently located in The Netherlands
